Want To Sell: 1985 pickup Deluxe $1200 Mansfield, Ohio, plus diesel engine and extras

It's time to sell my project truck. I'd like to get $1200 for it. I'm throwing a diesel engine and loads of parts in for free with
the sale. The wooden bumpers in the pictures are not on the truck anymore (I just had to stay legal with Ohio's bumper height laws).
Currently the truck and everything going with it are located in Mansfield, Ohio (about 50+ miles North of Columbus).
Basic Info:
It's a 1985 Toyota pickup xtra cab 4x4 on a 1985 Toyota 4Runner frame and axles. The axles are solid front and rear. In the suspension department it has a 5 inch front spring lift, 2 inch Daystar front shackles. The rear has replacement stock 4x4 pickup springs with 2 inch add-a-leaf and rear lift shackles. Trail Gear high steer, with 88 steering box w/ swap kit. Replaced factory rear "load leveler" with adjustable manual proportioning valve. The front axle has diff armor plus axle truss. Rear axle has diff armor also.
Full 22RE engine from 85 with roughly 110,000 miles on it. The cluster shows a little over 208,000 right now. Just installed 4.10s front and rear. There is a brand new custom made front drive shaft, new radiator (maybe 300 miles at the most on it), new alternator, new starter, new brake master cylinder (4wd), new gas tank and fuel pump. Some of the pictures show the old diesel tank, but there is a brand new gas one on it now. It also had a brand new clutch, flywheel, and pressure plate installed when the engine went in. The original builder took the bed off and built a custom setup in the back, seen in the pictures. I was going to redo it with full tubing. For those of you who know your Toyotas, you'll notice that the back bar is actually from a 4Runner interior. It has Aisin hubs, solid front bumper. It also has rear brake lights and turn signals in the rear, but no reverse lights. The wiring is there, but it was never done.
It is currently running on 36x12.50 R15 TSL Super Swamper tires with aluminum wheels. I also have a full set of 31x10.50 r15 I will throw in that were on the truck before. The frame is in very good condition. The interior is good. Bench seat is in nice shape as is the dash. There aren't any cracks in the dash. The carpet is good, but shows it's age. Manual transmission (G52) shifts well. The steering wheel is from a pre-84 Toyota as you can see, but it does match the interior. There is an aftermarket JVC headunit installed, but the wiring needs messed with. It worked fine before the cab harness was switched out, but the wiring to the radio wasn't all hooked up. The radio will work once that's done though. The two toggle switches in some of the pictures are not there anymore. They were for the diesel fuel pump which was removed when the 22RE went in.
Extra Parts:
I have tons of extra parts going with this including a black steering wheel from the 85 gen trucks/4Runners, radio brackets, interior shifter plate with rubber (original builder cut a hole in the cab to accomodate the 4wd shifters, but covered it with a piece of rubber. I removed the rubber with the thought of putting a stock 4wd console in), lug wrench with tool bag, heater controls (the one in the truck works, but it is a bit stiff moving the knobs), radio bezel with a cool factory clock (not the one in the heater controls either), column combination switch (the one on the truck works except for the intermittent wipers), plus a few other pieces from the interior I got off of an 86 junkyard truck that had a 22RE and 4wd. I also have a center vanity mirror in tan/brown and a stock shifter knob to replace the 8 ball shifter that is in it. I also have the interior fuse panel cover, emergency brake cable, and small side steps that I was going to install. There might be some other parts I have that I can't remember, but I will throw whatever else I find in with this sale.
I also have a set of stock seats in brown (from the 86 junkyard truck), a gauge cluster with tach (shows over 300,000, but I was going to move the odometer back), and a brown center console (front piece is broken but still works). And if anyone looking at this would be thinking about putting a bed back on it, I also have a complete (uncut) rear wiring harness for the 22RE that I will throw in.
I also have a W56 transmission with matching transfer case (from the 86 junkyard truck) that I was going to put in. I also have a diesel engine from an 84 pickup with all corresponding parts (clutch, flywheel, pressure plate, wiring, stock bellhousing to mate to a G52 or W56, everything) to throw it in and have it running (this diesel was actually in my truck when I first bought it).
Now for the bad. It is an 85 so it does show some rust. It could use some TLC, but with all the parts I have going with it this could be built into a really great truck. It does need a new front driver side brake caliper, which I have and will go with this sale. The driver side 36 tire is flat and will need replaced.
All of this is going with the sale of this truck. $1200 firm for everything. This includes the truck, both tire sets, extra 84 diesel engine with all corresponding parts to get it running, extra W56 tranny and matching transfer case, plus every extra part I have for the truck.
This price is to get this sold as a whole, not to part the truck out.

DAMN....That's one heck of a deal. I'd say "good luck" with the sale, but you're not going to need it. Surprised it's not gone already.

PM sent I8URSVT. Thanks 77lubr. I hate to sell it, but it really does need more TLC than I can give it right now. Down the road I will get another Yota pickup. I caught the bug and have a project in my heart. Now it is just waiting to come out.

I am REALLY interested, but my CFO (aka:wife) is not.

Really though, I just bought a 1982 Toy 4x4 P/U and had it shipped from AZ to my dad's bodyshop in DE last month. Though the diesel motor you are including is having me foaming at the mouth I couldn't swing it now. Even I know my "fun money" account is in the red. With that said, I'd LOVE to swap that diesel mill into the '72 FJ40 I'm restoring. Slow and steady would win the race.

I'd put it on Pirate if you haven't already.

77lubr. We can always work out a deal regarding the engine only. There is also www.uship.com . They shipped my 2002 Subaru WRX from 2 states away for only $320. I was very satisfied with them.

Sorry man, but I gotta pass. I really wish I could, but money is tight for the next few months.

I might still have the engine in a few months. I will sell it for cheap just so it doesn't just sit in my garage as a large paper weight. I want to see it go to a good home.

How many miles are on the diesel motor? And do you have everything for a full diesel swap?

The truck and engine have been sold to a friend of mine, but he doesn't really know what to do with the engine. As such it is still at my place, so more than likely he will just want to offload the engine if he can and get some money back. I will ask him and find out.

84'yota - There was roughly 200,000 miles on the diesel, and yes it has everything to just throw it in and start it up. It even has the diesel fuel tank and inline fuel pump (should you wish to go that route again). I will find out if he wants to sell it. More than likely he will as he was only really interested in the truck and keeping it FI.

The price has been dropped to $200 for the entire diesel swap (engine and all). This is an amazing deal on the entire package. The price is low to make a sale.

The engine and all swap pieces are in usual condition for a used engine. That being said, everything is still in nice shape. Plus, it all ran great before it was swapped out.
