1994 4Runner 3.4L swap 33's 4.56 - Fort Collins, CO
$6,250
GREAT DEAL ON AN AMAZING DAILY DRIVER AND CAMPING RIG!
3.4L SWAP -- 5 SPEED MANUAL TRANSMISSION -- 33x12.5x15 AT's -- 4.56 GEARS -- TOWING PACKAGE -- SUN ROOF
MORE $$$ IN PARTS INVESTED IN THE LAST 16K MILES THAN I'M SELLING FOR!!!
Title says 1994, but it's a 1993, sorry for the typo
The only reason I'm selling is because our growing family requires seating for 6. I've poured a lot of time and money into building a highly reliable and multi-functional vehicle and this rig is setup to push another 200K miles. I purchased this vehicle from the 2nd owner approximately 3 years ago, and I was provided a folder full of maintenance receipts from both the 1st and 2nd owners. At the time I purchased it, the 3.0L engine had a knock and to remedy that situation I purchased a 2001 4runner with 78K miles that had been in a roll over for a 3.4L engine swap. The following work was performed at that time and has been running flawlessly for 16K miles.
Preventative maintenance performed on the 3.4L prior to install: (all OEM parts)
· Seals replaced (camshafts, crank, rear main)
· Timing belt and water pump
· MAF Sensor
· Nearly all hoses replaced within vacuum system
· Spark plugs and gaskets
· Gaskets replaced (upper/lower intake manifold, throttle body, exhaust manifolds)
· Cylinder covers with gaskets
· Lokar throttle cable
· PCV valve assembly
· Idler assembly
· Dipstick and union
· All drive belts
· Thermostat
Other upgrades performed at the time of engine swap:
· New Redtop Optima battery, cables, and terminals
· Idler arm with 4crawler bronze bushing upgrade
· 100% new exhaust with Denso O2 sensors
· New clutch (with fork boot) and flywheel
· New clutch slave and master cylinders
· 1.5" 4crawler aluminum ball joint spacers up front
· FJ80 stock coils in the back
· 4crawler Panhard Drop bracket
· 4crawler LSPV relocation bracket
· (4) new ProPomp ES9000 shocks
· Rebuilt Aisin manual hubs
· New front CV axle shafts
· New front brake pads
· (4) new BFG All Terrain KO's 33x12.5x15
Current known maintenance needs:
· Replace transfer case output shaft seal -- I have the OEM replacement seal but haven't had time to replace
· Small driver side exhaust manifold leak -- I have the OEM replacement seal and new exhaust stud nuts but haven't had time to replace
· Rear driver side window switch needs replaced
· Front driver side lock actuator needs replaced
· Mast for the power antennae needs replaced
· Driver side mirror has cracked glass
