1986 4Runner - $7000obo
Sadly I've decided that it's time to let my 4Runner go. I just don't use it like I thought I would when I built it, and don't want to watch it go to waste in front of my house. It's been some time since I've been active on forums, and imageshack has decided to give the world the finger with it's hosting service, so I'll get some current pics up somewhere else soon. It's not quite as pretty anymore because the paint is 6 years old now and has a couple small rubs fron the trail, but still gets lots off attention. For now, see my avatar and the 2012 yotatech calender (cover and november.)
It is a 1986 turbo model, which has a california smog legal 1UZFE in it, as well as a solid axle swap. The front axle is the sought after 1985 model and has 1.5" wheel spaces to match the rear width. It has a 5" Allpro rear lift and 4" Marlin front lift and high steer kit. The engine had 38,000 miles on it when I purchased it on ebay and installed it in 2011. It is a USDM motor with the lexus logo and looked like a brand new motor when first installed. Since then it's taken me to work for a summer and over the rubicon once. I'd say the engine has less that 45K on it now and should be good for another 200,000 miles if you care for it. It has an aftermarket three row aluminum radiator and electric puller fan, which is controlled by a P.I.D. fan controller of my design, which can designate on temp, off temp, histerysis, speed it spins when it turns on, what temp to reach max speed, and displays engine temp within one degree. This controller will actually also display and control the transmission, and torque converter lock up if you want to install paddles like I was planning. Which would give you a total of 8 forward speeds. (1st, 1st+lockup, 2nd, 2nd+lockup, etc..)
The engine is coupled to the lexus tranny, and then to an inchworm gear adapter to dual RF1A cases, both 2.28 and both have 23 spine input shafts. Both axles have been re-geared to 5.29 and are fitted with ARB air lockers, turning mickey thompson 35's on mickey thompson wheels. Both driveshafts are custom built, the front one is now single cardan on both ends. The Emergency brake has been relocated to a hand brake between the seats. The sliders were purchased from trail gear, and are welded to the frame. I custom built both the front and rear bumpers out of 3/16 and 1/4" steel. The winch is 12,500lbs from harbor frieght (badlands) I also one offed the roof rack, which is over 6' long, so you can easily sleep up there if you want, on the front of it are four 35w 4" HID lights, which when on are so bright it become difficult to tell if the factory high beams are on or off.
The (grey) interior is in pretty good shape aside from the somewhat messy job I did cutting into the tranny hump, which still could use some kind of a console to wrap it up neatly. The front seats have been replaced by corbeau GTSII seats. Mounted to the roof of the cab is a cobra 29 CB with it's antenna mounted on the right rear above the tail light.
It's not perfect, but it's only $7k also. I really, really hate to sell it. I just don't really use it and with no stable income right now, it's gotta go.

My apologies to everyone who I didn't get back to earlier in the year. Long story short, me and the girlfriend have decided to sell all of our crap to go sailing full time while we are young enough to do so. Which puts this thing back on the market.
So....best offer that can have the cash in my hand no later than the 21st of this month gets the truck.
I WILL have some updated pictures for everyone in the next couple days.

So here's the album with pics just taken today, and a video showing the fan controller a little.
