I can only say get the best you can afford.

I have one I bought from Snap On back in the late eighties still going strong but I would venture I paid $400.00 or so.

I also have a little one from Sears that slow charges overnight.

I would look at Warranties and service close to you to help make up your mind. Not that you spend a fortune in shipping to get it looked at.

Honestly the charger/booster combo is old tech. I still have a sears roll around unit that is probably 20 years old when sears made good stuff (its probably rebranded but it works). However I switched years ago to 2 things: 1. A battery tender brand charger, I got the kind that is heavy duty and plugs into a wall. It will easily charge up a battery overnight and also trickle charges. They have stronger models too. 2. A booster box, I have and use daily at work for eons a jump n carry model 660, will jump anything short of a diesel truck and will jump multiple cars easily. I find it much handier b/c its totally portable.

If your deadset on a plug in unit find a used snap on.

How long does it take to recharge one of those??

Will it keep a charge for weeks if unused??
