Just thought someone might be interested in this free software for scanning OBD1 on older Toyota, it gives timing, injector time, coolant temp etc, and it can log the data! Cartester8000 English version. You have to make a simple serial cable and off you go!!

Now if someone is willing to build the cable and scan their 2RZ-FE, I would really appreciate it!

Any idea what "scanner" the amazon 16-22pin adaptor connects to? Or even what the pin-out is?

It won't help with the Russian software; that's bit-banging through the comm-port.
