I am looking for a rack for my 4runner and would like one that could carry a spare if i would like but i did see this one online and was wondering if i could mount a spare even if not designed to and also what brand is it?

I was looking at a thule years ago. Now walmart carries a roof rack for a 1/3 to 1/4 the price of a thule.

Don't know the dimensions. Guess it depends on the size spare you plan to carry. I changed my mind wheeling in the PNW with off chamber and obsticles didn't want any more weight above center of gravity than necessary.

I don't know how creative you are, but we bought a rack for my girlfriends xj off Craigslist, it's made from EMT tubing. You could buy a few sticks for pretty cheap and a hand bender and make it exactly how you want it. Just an idea
