Pacedog#1
This is a beware thread.
This guy had committed to buy BigJohn's 87 4runner. Had a real attitude with John from the beginning and after a while John started to get a bad feeling about him. So, I searched his screen name on a few boards. Turns out he was looking for pics and info on other 1st gen 4runners around the country after the commitment to buy John's.
He expected John to hold the 4runner for him until Jan. 1st. But refused to give John a deposit. The guy claims to have had a non-refundable airline ticket and that it "Should be good enough". Well, it wasn't knowing that John would immediately be needing to buy something else. A deposit is just general practice if you want someone to hold anything. This guy doesn't get it and went ballistic after this.
Then things got nasty. He claims that I "stalked" him around the internet and has threatened legal action against me because I told John about him still shopping for other rigs.
He's a real piece of work.
Anyway his name is AARON C REYNOLDS of MILTON, FL
SELLER BEWARE!

Just as a follow up. This guy tried to bash me on TTORA. The thread didn't go exactly how he had hoped.

Since Pacedog#1 won't let it rest...
Pacedog#1 and I came to an agreement for him to purchase my 4Runner. He bought a plane ticket and was to be picked up by myself on Jan 1st. A day or so after we made the deal, I found him on other boards, asking for info on other rigs. This included at least one Jeep board. At this point I felt that I needed more than just a $188 plane ticket to show me that Pacedog was truly serious about going through with this deal. I then called Pacedog and asked him for a deposit as I was getting ready to pull the trigger on a replacement rig for myself. He became very irate, told me about his tours of duty and how that should somehow be enough, then cancelled the deal.
A couple of days and several ty PM's from Pacedog later I offered to have him fly out as planned, without deposit, and finish the deal (don't know what I was thinking). In true Pacedog fashion, it was thrown back in my face and I was told by Pacedog that "I'd have to do a lot more selling to get him to buy my rig". I thought I had already sold him my rig, haha!
Too bad his arrogance cost him a truly nice rig.
His loss!

Why edit your original post Aaron?:
Welcome back, although your stay will be short again.
I mean this thread was 3+ months old and you just brought it up again. At least everyone will know that you have a new screen name and to not do business with you again too.
