CO guys-Kingston peak/mammoth gulch
So just a question of curiosity for the Colorado guys, but we're planning a trip up Kingston peak for my little bro's birthday (98_3RZ) but I've nev run either trail. For those of you that have run it, anything we should look out for?

I was up there two summers ago with a stock '94 4Runner. Rough in places, and the climb up Kingston Peak from the north side is steep, but I had no trouble. Great views on top. If coming from the north, about 1 mile before the top there's a pull-off and a trail to some nice lakes below James Peak with good fishing for small cutthroats.
I recommend coming from the north side, off the Moffat Tunnel road. Route finding is easier that way. It's a maze finding your way through the town of Alice when coming from the south.
Have a good time; it's a great, not too difficult run!
