He painted them with one coat of primer. After they dried he put put two coats of Krylon black paint.

After they were painted, he went to Foothills 4x4 a local 4x4 shop by Eric to have them welded on. You can see in one of the pictures they used a small gusset added to the weld to strengthen them.

I'm sure Eric is pleased with the results as they look like they turned out real nice.
