So you want to learn how to add to the YotaTech Wiki? Please take some time and read this helpful guide. [1]

Before you start a new page, please check the table of contents on the main page here. [2]

There are a few listings already, and some have listings within, so please do a little searching first before you create a new page from scratch.

To start a new page, (this info is also on the start page here) please follow this info:

Starting a page from a link, or after a search To start a new page, you can click a link to the new page. This takes you to edit mode of the non-existing blank page, which allows creation. You might not be able to create a new page unless you are logged in. Notably this applies to the English Wikipedia.

Another way to start a new page, on the English Wikipedia, which uses the w:MediaWiki:Nogomatch option, is to perform a search for the new title with the Go button (as you should have done before). When the search finds nothing, press "create the article.

It is very simple to add a page using the Go button, and that is the way we would suggest you try. After you have created your page, please notify a Staff member so we can add it to the main page with the table of contents on it. Let us know which category it will fall under too. This is your Wiki, so please feel free to explore and start the creation of your Wiki. You can also use it as a blog to have info about projects you are working on. Simply click on the link to the right of your name you see in the Wiki navbar, and click on "my talk." You can edit that page anytime you like, and you can add pictures to it too. There is no IMG command here for pictures, you simply paste in the URL to the picture and it will show.

If you are in a sub section like the vehicle FAQs as seen on the start page, please take a look at the FJ Cruiser section for an example of how a mini table of contents gets created on the fly, it is near the top of the page here. [3]

To have your entry listed in a mini table of contents like shown in the example above, use the Level Two headline command by clicking on the button_headline.png icon.

This will a _______ line underneath your topic and will input it into the mini table of contents.

And when the next person that comes along that wants to create a new topic in the same area, they would use the Level Two Headline command too.
