Colorado - Ironclads, Sunday June 10 (aka Lil Tots run)
Thanks to John (mojo_risin) for organizing a fun day. We had a bunch of 4Runners (5 or 6), 3 new FJ Cruisers, a 100 series LC, a jeep, and my lone Tacoma. It was great meeting all of you, and hope we can do it again (soon)!
Met at Bunce School, and ran up to the top of Iron Clads. It was steep, rocky, dusty and very narrow in parts, and I think damage was minimal. I'm not sure if we ever found "the window", but spent a good part of the day on a very steep hill of sand, dirt and boulders that was alot of fun (and tough).
Tons of kids ranging from infants to teenagers, as well as many "adults" acting like kids. Everyone was very well behaved!
A few pics I took (starting with the perfunctory shot of Bunce School from the late 1800's):
and a couple of videos of the FJ (sound is waaayy off) getting over the top of the play hill.

UGH, sorry I missed it.
Spent the whole day wrenching at John's place (mojo_risin), drive home... then the truck wouldn't get out of first gear after stopping for a brief moment. Spent sunday under the truck...

Well then thanks to you for hookin John up! It was a fun trail; the pics make it look pretty flat, but some of those hills were pretty darn steep.
Hopefully others took a few shots to add to the thread.

I didn't get to take too many pictures, but here are a few.
Hopefully someone got pics of the open 1st from Florida trying to launch himself up the hill without flopping over
This trail was more difficult and steep that it looks. On the way down Mojo almost took out a side window trying to skirt between two narrow trees and CoCajun pulled a couple 'Mayhem' maneuvers on some dropoff ledges
I think Evie digs 4wheeling
First time out for this FJ
Getting a wheel stand
Jacket right before he tore off his mud flap
Double lockers on this cruiser made it no problem
Nice view from the top. I'm assuming those mountains are the Ironclads.

As I stated in the other thread - Thanks to all for coming out - sorry we could only run 1 trail but I think we all had a good time on this trail. It had a few challenging spots to make it fun for all levels of drivers and vehicles. Unfortunately I didn't get many pics - but since it was a "Lil Tot's run" hers 2 pics of our little tot Leyni...
Me and Leyni - a carrier makes walking on rocky trails a lot easier...
Anna and Leyni enjoying the view...

Wrenchin on the truck AGAIN last night. Freaking annoying.

Great pictures!
Looks like fun was had by all, always a great run when that happens.
Eric, sorrry to hear about your truck. Sounds like clutch trouble. Good luck man.
