Just happened to notice that you're in Sedalia, I happen to be there now (Comfort Inn Sedalia Station) and will occasionally pass through on my way to Whiteman. I work at Fort Leonard Wood. We should grab a coffee one day when it's convenient and compare notes.

    Hey Powerstrokejoe,
Can you tell me the diameter of the holes you drill in the toyota flywheel for the om617 swap? I am at this step and want to be sure I do it right. Thanks!

So I have finished getting my om617 in with a r150 tranny I was wondering if you got and gear rattling in the transmission? Is sounds like all the backlask in the gears is being taken up and let go at lower rpm's just wondering if this is a diesel vibration thing and if you experienced it?

I'm machining an adapter plate for an om617 to r150 trans and was wondering how you came up with the thickness for your adapter plate. I can come up with the pilot bearing position easy but since I never had the v6 engine how did you determine where to put the pilot bearing relative to the flywheel. Or maybe a simpler question you might not have the answer to how tall is the pilot bearing pocket from the face of the crankshaft on a v6 engine. trying to maintain the stock flywheel position in the bellhousing
