18aug2012..My first day on this site. I just got an estimate of over $600. to replace a rear main seal on 98 4runner automatic tran. The estimate says 7 hours labor. I am not inclined to try this myself. Just asking if this sounds reasonable? I am all for profit making businesses...and these folks are thought of as reliable. Thanks.

hello there, i was reading the forum on code 52. i was wondering if you might possibly be able to lend me a hand. 1988 4runner, 3.0. where the knock sensor wire comes out of the motor, under the throttle body, where the clip leads to a wire, which lead into the wiring harness. before the wire enters the harness, one of the two wire is broken. is that something that i can get from toyota? and just "splice" it into the main wiring harness?sorry i'm a relative newbie. any help at all would be appreciated. thank you for your time..Jeff.
