I finally bought a 1st gen 4runner, a beat up '89 4runner. Only paid $1,000 for it and got what I paid for, blew the HG about 300 miles into ownership. It happened a little early, but it was expected considering it has the 3.0. It will sit until spring when I have more time and it will be considerably warmer. I plan on a 3.4 swap, a slight lift, tube bumpers, sliders and a matte gray or white paint job.
