    I think it was worth it. I called and Talked to Ted (engnbldr) and he suggested that with my .040 overbore, 5.29 gears, and 33" tires, I go with the 268 Cam. Now without all of those other options, I would have gone with the 261.

    It made improvements all across the rpm range for me. Not results are going to vary depending on what you have (gears, bore, etc..)

    I used to have to downshift into 2nd every time I would hit the hill coming into my neighborhood. Now with the combination of the new cam and bore, I pull the hill in 3rd and sometimes can shift into 4th when I reach the top.
