I just bought a 86 4runner about 1 month ago. I bught my truck for 2400, with a rebuilt engine, new tires, shocks and recently service AC as well. the price seems kind of high, If the truck is running fine you should not have any problems. But i can not tell you much since i am new to the 4Runners as well.

Hey there. I am a toyota first timer and had a few questions about the truck I may buy. Its an 86 4runner with the 22re with an auto tranny. It has 131,000 miles on it and its near new. My question is how well will this thing handle being driven daily around 80-100 miles (mostly highway miles) ? It seems solid but I am Curious what the experianced Toyota guy think about it. I had my car totaled last week and have to buy something quickly. This guy wants 3900$ for the truck. What do you think? Does your yota have the rear seats ? the one I'm looking at buying didnt come with rear seats from the factory however I'm told that you can remove the steel plate located where the rear seat would be and bolt a seat there ? Any info would be greatly appreciated
