Yeah, a 4-5" lift, locker, some 285's, and some body armor, and you'll be more than capable of doing even moderately tough trails. I've consistently surprised Jeep guys with the capability of my truck in it's present form. I say go for it. You'll be stoked. The great thing is that it's still a great DD. In fact, I make regular trips from Bullhead to Oceanside, CA, and the thing does great. Go, good luck. Keep us updated on your build!

Doh! Sorry bro, meant to mention that. Yeah, they're a 285/65R16 which works out to be just barely shy of 33". It's been a pretty good combination of equipment. I've thought about going to 34's but I'm not sure if I will, simply because this setup has done everything I'm interested in doing without a problem.

Hey bro, I'm running T6 aluminum spacers in the front (similar to Revtek), with Pro-Comp AAL's in the back, as well as a 2" 4Crawler body lift. For wheel and tires, I'm running American Racing steel wheels with 3.75 backspacing, I believe. Tires are BFG TA KO's. I've had this set up for almost three years, wheeled it moderately hard and have had really no issues. For the money spent, it's been fantastic!

Get a double cab. You'll be stoked. :D
