Did you ever figure out what the shifting problem was? My auto is doing the exact same thing. Getting frustrating.

How does the 22re-auto do with the 31" tires? Im looking at an '86 with an auto and am a little worried it will suck hardcore with 31"ers. I've had a '93 p/u 22re 5spd with 31" and I kind of liked it...but that was with a manual..

You should definitely try to make it....... see how far you can get..... the hardest part of the Swamp is the end (as long as we start at the start and not the end) lol :) There are several ways out at the end and there will be lots of people to help if you get stuck ;) I agree with Algranger about the 33's or bigger though.... if you can get into a set before the run it will definitely help you out...... Well maybe we will see ya out there but if we dont then maybe next time :)
