I am in Richmond and I just for all intenese purposes rebuilt my 1992 22re. It doesn't seem to have much power. I was wondering if you have a recomendation for a GOOD local guy to take a look at it.

    Thanks,

    Derek

Hi, I have been reading about the Zuk no-cut mod and saw that you used Celica springs. How do they ride? I think I might go this route because I am not trying to achieve significant lift, rather aiming for restoring factory height.
Also, did you use the front or rear springs? I am going to do some hunting at the auto salvage for some Celica springs tomorrow. They are 12" x 5" wide?

Thanks in advance! Your truck's lookin good btw

I like your x-cab... very nice, i've always wanted one...
Bumper is my cousins design, he is a "part time" fabricator...
There are 4 bolts holding it on, it's pretty solid, it doesnt shake around like the push bar on my 99... might add a few more supports to the mounting tho, but it goes straight to the frame...

All i used was a 3" BL, and for the pickup with stock rims, all he used was 3" BL... had to do a bit of front bumper trimming tho.
You might need to do some trimming of the fender near the back, when i turn and go up a curb it rubs a tiny bit (rarely)

3.4 swap is 95% complete... still need to tune the motor and drop the smaller pullies on the S/C...

If you look at my pics you will see 33x9.5's on stockers (winter set)... don't go wider than 10.5 for winter tires, as they will want to float and slip over ice, the thinner the better when it's snowing... you shouldn't have a problem with 33x9.5 or 10.5 with a 1.5" BL...

Thanks dude, they're old pics i haven't updated in awhile, i really should update the cardomain now with the 3.4 swap / etc.
The wheels are mickey thompson classic locks, 15x8 with 3-5/8" backspacing (only size they make for 6x5.5).

Check my PB for more pics of the truck http://s148.photobucket.com/albums/s35/Greg_Canada/

No problem man, go right ahead. Just make sure to take some pictures of it when it's finished, would be cool to see the armor on someone else's rig lol. If you don't have anyone in mind to build the armor, give Sixditch Enterprises a call...they were the welding gods that built mine
