hey nice truck, I just bought an 87 toy truck on ebay I still haven't picked it up, but it needs a paint job especially before winter. Its a grey or silver color. I have been surfing the net and love the color of your truck. Could you help me out and give me the color code that I will need for the body shop. I really appreciate your help. Thanks Scott

lol I came across some old interior chrome hooded lights from my old semi and decided to put them in. They aren't weather proof so I filled the backing with silicone and installed them on the hood latch bolts. In Indiana you can see the glow as long as you can't see the light bulbs lol so that's where the hooded part is important. I just wired them in to the parking lights. It was easy and took about 30 minutes to do.

It was the coolant bi pass line so I took off the bad one and had them cut me a section of rubber fuel line for it and it's good. Yesterday I took all the blue interior stuff and painted it red so now everything matches. It looks great and as soon as I get pics I will updat them. Finally got all of my exhaust finished from the manifold back... I ended up having to pay a place to cut and bend the pipe for me and use clamps and cement to get it all tight. No one would touch it because it's not "legal" since I cut the cat off lol. I'm still having trouble with it idling too fast. I turned it down a bit, cleaned the fuel and throttle stuff on the engine inside and out. When I kick the throttle it idles down but when I stop at a light it's about 200 RPM too fast till I kick it down. Also, I have a spare 4wd rear axle that I want to put disc brakes on and change it out. I know there's a kit to buy to change an axle from drum to disc but I don't know where to get it... do you know?

Thanks for the info man... I wasn't sure where to look. I replied to your photo comments by the way... if you don't wanna look, the dash was sprayed with something called Make It Stone that I got at True Value Hardware... they probably have it at Lowes as well... also called Fleckstone paint. It's pretty simple to use but it's like spraying mud and can be sloppy... if your interior is gray, you don't have to spray it on thick. I just wiped the dash down with rubbing alcohol and then sprayed away. I'm impatient and didn't tape off or paper the windows so I had to use a credit card to scrape it off of the windows where I slipped up lol but it's easy...scrapes off about as easy as frost on a cool morning window.

Hey I had a problem the other day which answered a question I was wondering about but brought up another question. Where do I find the numbers on my block to find out what exact engine I have? I needed a bi-pass hose the other day and nothing that they came up with was correct so I had them just make the hose for me. I know my engine isn't original but now I'm not sure exactly what it is other than a 22REC lol... When I get the numbers, do you know where to go to find out what the engine is? Thanks dude. Corey
