having some issues with my internet so hope this gets to you..
did you change your exhaust valve springs yet? i have the same problem on my 4th cyl and am going to check out the same thing you did if that worked for ya.

Hi, I have been dealing with the same missing (but only on my 4th cyl) have you changed your exhaust valve springs yet? I would like to know if that fixed your problem. email me back @ levibedortha@yahoo.com
