Will do. I'm backpacking the Grand Canyon 10/3-10/10 so I'll be out of touch for a while but then it will be time to get things rolling. Looks like I need to join the "group". Thanks.

That's great, getting the whole vehicle is the best way to go. I got my stuff from a '91 astro that had a totaled title from my work for.......FREE! You will want to keep the fuel lines, tranny cooler lines, and ecu/wiring harness for sure. One thing you might also run into is that on mine it was originally 22re so it had an elec. fuel pump in the tank. I simply made new fuel lines for pump/sending unit going from 5/16" supply to 3/8"supply and 1/4" return to 5/16" return and put a 13psi Delco fuel pump back in the tank, then I used astro fuel lines rebent to fit yota frame and brackets. You can use frame mounted pump but remember the farther away from the tank you get it the better your chances are of getting vapor lock. Also slap new valve guide seals onthe 4.3 before install, chev. had problems w/them and I wish I would've done mine before. Let me know if I can help anymore. Later Reuben

Your near Payson correct? I have family in the Pine/Strawberry area, I did some mild wheeling, actually more of exploring fireroads, back on Thanksgiving '08. I may be heading up that way to do some fishing later in the summer with my dad, If i get my new motor in by then I'd love to hit some of the trails:D. Hows the fishing at Canyon Creek? havent been there in like 6 years.
