Out of excitement, or more out of sheer ignorance and stupidity, I bought an '88 V6 Pickup. Many of the things the PO told me about had come to be untrue. I'm here to learn, so though my questions may sound stupid because they seem elementary, please believe I ask because I want to make the truck work again and you must concede that there is credibility in saying that many of the search results return threads with although containing great conversations, they mostly include LONG dead links of information from years ago.

I'll make this truck great again, damn it. If just in spite of nostalgia that led me to buy the truck I did without my usual, extensive research. I know, it's my fault. But so to will be making it great again.
