Im new to this forum thing. So nice advice is appreciated.
Im a single mom, Started workin on vehicles 15 yrs ago when I travelled around the country in a 73 VW van and had to learn how to do mechanics
Im here to find help in fixing my 1985 Toyota pickup 4x4 22R.
bought it 12-12-12, from original owner.
Im working on an exhaust manifold leak and its Quite a pain to get off because of the way bolts are put in. All the nts came off of the manifold just fine. its the bolts going into the pipe assembly that have been the problem, but finally got the pipe assembly (EGR?) off with my daughters help!
Now I would like to get the manifold off without taking the 3 bolts that connect to the pipes going under the truck, or figure out how to get them off. Seems like I may need an open ended wrench as the part coming thru the nut (does that have a name?) is too long for a socket to fit on.
I really appreciate that this forum is here and that people help each other!
