    Reved fine but still on idle I hade it towed home please help it a automatic v6 3.0 I checked oil wasn't milky it was white smoke coming from the engine compartment not the tail pipe.

    I have a 95 4Runner an a coolant hose popped off and I had coolant and was smoking really bad. I cut the engine let it cool and put the hose back on I trie to start it and it would not idle it would just die. If I give it has it reced fine.
