"NEED HELP" flatbed light wiring
So today im trying to wire up some tail lights for my flatbed and im having some issues they are stop turn tail universal lights and im aware i might need another pair. But my issue is i can get my blinker and running lights to work but my brake light doesn't work idk if its a fuse or what. i also cut these little plugs of my bundle of tail light wires that had a white wire goin into them and a green wire with a blue stripe coming out i think that wire might have been my brake light but i cant remember. i also have one red wire a white wire and an extra green wire not wired to anything. im so frustrated can anybody help

Heres some pictures of what i have and the plugs i cut off im not sure what to do with the white wire so i just grounded it, and theres only one green wire that does anything. all i can get it to do is have running lights and blinkers.
The solid green red and white are from my light. the rest are for my tail lights.

Your ground wire doesn't ground to the frame. Each light must be grounded to the same ground wire.
I just went through this problem with my truck. Using a converter is a waste of time and a PITA. I have replaced mine about 4 times in 2 years.
Soo.......
This is what you need to do it easily and it will be right.
Stop and parking light in one
Turn signal
Reverse light
4 prong trailor plug ( male & female )
2 prong plug ( male & female )
Connectors & electrical tape
Test light
Okay read closely to hook them up correctly
You should have a total of six wires. Wire them up to the plugins that I listed above. This makes things easier if ever removing the bed. Now you should have only one ground wire. I believe it's the white wire. This will be used to connect all light grounds to. Now turn the ignition key on. Have someone to turn left turn signal on. Use test light to touch each wire until it begins blinking. Note your test light must be hooked to the ground wire for each step. Once you find that wire hook it up to left turn signal. Make sure to hook up ground wire as well. Now repeat these steps for your right turn signal. At this point both turn signals should be hooked up. Now turn on parking lights and repeat same process to find the corresponding wire. You should now be down to 2 wires. Brake and reverse. Repeat process.
There ya go. That's the best way to do it. Here is a pic of my setup.
The three middle lights are my brake lights. The outer Red ones are my parking lights and turn signals. And of course the clears are reverse.
I hope this helps ya. I believe your only problem is the ground that you misplaced.
