Xbox 360 - Wireless?

If I want to network a 360 w/ my wireless network, do I need a separate adapter? I have a Linksys wireless router that my laptop is connected to so I can use it throughout the house. Is it as easy as just mapping the 360 to this router or are there additional parts to buy?

Don't quote me but the 360 is not wireless in and by itself. We use the Nyko systems.....They work with both the PS2 and the xbox stuff. They work great on the other side of the house and no lag.

You need to have some type of wireless adaptor for sure.

Yeah, the wireless network adapter is required. They are $100 and can be found anywhere you can buy Xbox stuff. They seem to be a hot item, because when I bought mine, Best Buy only had one of them and EB Games was out of stock. It is a cool addition!

Thanks guys. This is what I figured from reading up last night.

Personally, I think this sucks. If you pay $400 for a premium system from Microsoft, the least it could do is have wireless built in.

Word... which is why Sony was smart in adding it in the 60GB version... Though, I think even in the 20GB version it should be included.

then it woulda been close to $450-500 for the price of the system.

rememer, the core doesnt have a wireless controller, component cables and the hard drive. and the diff between the 2 is only $100.
