I'm having a problem getting Winamp to work with my computer at work: a WIN 2k SP4 machine.
I can't get Winamp (any version) to actually play a CD. I stick the CD in and it automatically opens Winamp, and it looks like it will play, it looks like it's playing, and the spectrum analizer even bumps as if music is playing. But the sound won't come out.
This is happening with store-bought audio CDs.
Data CDs (MP3s) work fine.
Windows Media player works fine, but I hate its gui.
