I use both Outlook 2003 at work and at home.
The new Office 2003 is a pretty good all around app suite. And while I am at work if I want to access my Comcast account, I log into Comcasts email page through any browser.

Apple Mail! Though, I'm jealous and really wish Outlook 2k3 would port to the Mac.

I've switched to Thunderbird a year or so back. I used to use Eudora, but Thunderbird is free and works very well.
I also like the extensions which can be added.

thunderbird is just straight up better and has nice junk mail controls. and if youre saying "clients", gmail/yahoo arent really client persay, theyre just webmail so i dunno. i'd say that should be a diff category. oh and i use thunderbird for gmail so i have 3 accounts in my thunderbird

The poll isn't particularly useful in that it's comparing different things: e-mail clients and email providers.
I use Outlook Express with Gmail, so you see the contradiction... That said I do like Gmail's web interface. I really only us Outlook so that I have copies of the emails on my computer too.

As drguitarum2005 said, Thunderbird beats them all. I've been running the T-bird for a couple years now and installed 2.0 Beta 2 a couple weeks ago without issue. Add the Lightning calendar Extension to that and it can't be beat.

Yeah, sorry about the client/provider confusion.
Scott, good to hear about T-bird Beta. I avoid Betas, but will at least take a look. Lightning is a great little calendar.

I migrated from Outlook to Tbird a couple years ago and haven't looked back since. I started with Tbird somewhere around v0.9 and have never experienced any troubles. The Lightning extension integrates right into Tbird, so the calendar function is nearly identical to Outlook. Since it integrates, there's no need to run a second app just for a calendar.

I use yahoo for work but T-shirt hell's e-mail hell for everyting else. It's free like most, but you get to choose your own .com from a list. A few examples are:

outlook express is email only. outlook is email, calendaring, tasks, etc... and with outlook 2007, it now even hooks into sharepoint.

I swear to Gmail. I just like the way all of Google's programs mesh together for a nice convenient experience. And the best part....its freaking free.
