Laptop/Work Computer/Home Computer:

Dell Latitude D800
Pentium M @ 1.6 ghz
384MB RAM (Probably DDR PC2100)
40GB HDD
WS LCD with a res of 1920x1200
Crappy nVidia GeForce Go MX card w/ 64mb mem
2nd Battery (this give me something like 5 hours of battery life on a WS laptop)
DVD-Rom/CD-RW (this is not in my computer, but can be swapped with the 2nd Battery

This makes me sad. I need to get back into my glory days and get me a desktop with a top-o-the-line Vid card and a 21" Monitor (most likley Flat Screen CRT) so I can game, do my graphics stuff, and do some CAD as well.

One Seagate Barracuda 80 GB 7200 RPM hard drive
One Seagate External 200 GB 7200 RPM USB/Firewire hard drive
ATI 9600 Pro vid card, 128 RAM

Logitech Elite keyboard
19" Iiyama CRT monitor

More info here...

Future plans call for:

Many more upgrades, always tweaking to make it a better gaming machine.

Also have a P3 500 GHz in the other room, and an old P2 233 GHz laptop.

You know, Dell often has much better deals than Newegg, but some stuff takes a few weeks to ship.
Here is that 19" Viewsonic.

I hope that case comes down some.

That power supply gets a top rated score in last months CPU magazine, and the cables unplug, so you only use what you need.
CPU mag

Better review in last months mag.

I just found the paper on my mobo it's an "8K3AE DDR 333". So I guess that means it's got a 333Mhz FSB right?

Here is my old one. I am getting rid of it or giving it to my son. I am going Alienware. Just waiting for approval from the wifey.

Ever since I have gone to a wireless server route I have been getting the "blue screen of death" There should no reason. I have re-formatted it and it still comes back.

So I am "going big ot going home"!
