Question Refresh my memory: PC2700 to PC3200

Ok I recencly added some memory. I had 512k worth of PC2700. I bought 2 gigs of PC3200. Now how do I change the settings to make it run faster? It has been years since I done this and I do not remember how to do it. Here is what I have:

Athlon XP 2400
ABit NVida NForce2 motherboard
Albatron GeForce Ti4200 128M DDR

The startup screen says I'm running at 266 and I need to know how to get it up to 333. All I want to do is to make use of the upgraded memory I have. I do not need to overclock anything, just need to make the settings for the faster memory. Right now it is a little faster but nothing noticeable. I know I need to change the multiplier but I cannot remember how to do it. Any help would be appreciated. Yes I know my computer is old!!

James

Restart your computer and press "delete" to get into your BIOS to see if there is an option to change the memory settings. Press delete as soon as you see the first screen during start-up.

I already know all about that, just need to know what to change the multiplier to.

Check in the support section of the ABIT website. They might also have the info on Nvidia's site.
Did you get a motherboard manual with the computer?

Yeah I have the owners manual somewhere but can't find it.

If I remember correctly when I setup the computer, I left it the FSB at 266 because I did not want to run into any problems running at 333 but it has been a long time. I will check.
