problem with opening new windows

I have a problem. Eveytime we open a new window from a current site, the window is halfway off the screen and I have to do some dragging or open a new window for it to get the whole window in the screen. How can I fix this?
Thanks
Paul

Paul,

There's two possibilities why this is happening. I will list each and a possible solution.

Multi monitor; sometimes windows gets confused and thinks there's two monitors. An example is using your regular monitor a TV. You would need to go into video properties to disable TV as a monitor.

Second, and probably most likely, is the problem with minimizing windows. Windows, for an unknown reason, remembers the last time you moved a window to minimize it. I recommend expanding the window with a mouse and closing it. Don't maximize the window just, use your mouse to stretch it out. Please make sure it's the only window open. When you are done stretching it, then close it. All should be fine.

Good luck.
