PDF file help

Normally when I use my HP Three In One printer I use MS software to scan, but today I scanned in 5 pages from a magazine article, and used HP's Image Director software instead.

I did the 5 pages, then after I shut off the app, a save file menu came up that said to save it as scan.tif which I did not want, and using the pull down menu JPG was not in the selection, but PDF was.

I thought "Oh boy," I am going to only have one scan, the other 4 will be lost.
Not so, when I choose to save it as a PDF file, it saved all 5 scans.
I double clicked the PDF file, and Acrobat Reader showed me all 5 pages in one file.

Way cool!

But what if I have several JPG files such as this?
http://yotatech.com/showthread.php?t=98707

I would create a new folder on my hard drive and just use the full size pics minus the thumbnails.
But I see no option with the HP software to do this since I am not scanning.

I do not see the option either with the latest Acrobat Reader.
Is there a way to do this?

Today was the first time I have ever created a PDF file.

I see this here, but you do it online, and pay then $10 a month

Thanks,

The option to have them in one file requires the full version of Acrobat. You can make PDF's from groups of images or even groups of PDF files. You can also save PDF's as jpegs - if you have a 30 page doc, it would create 30 individual image files.

Yeah, I am looking to take all 24 of those FJ Topic JPGs and save them as one PDF file.

Looks like the full version of Adobe is required then.

Funny how my HP software will take multiple scans though and offer to save it the way I want to do with the JPG files.
