Outlook XP not sending Zip files

Outlook XP not sending Zip files
I use to be able to send Zip files with Office XPs Outlook email client.
Not anymore.
I can browse to the file, but when I select it, it will not appear in the box where the file name goes.
Can not find any ops for this.
So I have to end up using Outlook Express to do this task.
Does anyone know the fix for this?
I know I can not send an exe file or recieve one, as Outlooks security blocks those by default.

Rename the file with a ".txt" extension so it reads like this: filename.zip.txt. Tell the recipient to save it to their desktop & rename it, removing the ".txt" after saving it. This is one of those "security" features that MS included in Outlook XP & 2K3, more of a pain than its worth and still doesn't prevent any infections.

There are a few programs that will allow you to edit the automatically blocked list.
