Keyboard, PS2 or USB

For those of you who have a keyboard that can either work the PS2 way or USB, which is best?
I run my Logitech Elite using the PS2 adaptor.
This way when the PC is powered off, I can hit my spacebar (programmed in the BIOS) and the PC will start up.

If I hook it up via USB though, I loose this feature.
Is there an advantage though say in keyboard responsiveness using either way?

By the way, this is the best keyboard I have ever owned.
Good for gaming and all around use.
I never use the mouse anymore to start up Outlook or Internet Explorer.
There are buttons on the keyboard for this as well as one for the Media Player.

use the ps2, that way you keep your space bar power on feature plus you'll keep the extra USB, there isnt much use for an extra PS2.....i've heard of people having problems with USB keyboards sometimes, more so then mouses......

Since I have so many usb devices I put the keyboard and mouse on the ps2 ports to save the usb bandwidth and from tieing up the usb ports. as far as performance their the same. on the old usb 1.1 there was sometimes a hesitation with controlers like mice and joysticks a pain with games but the newer system have no adverse effects. I have that keyboard but it came with the matching wireless mouse

Thanks guy's.
I think I will stick with the PS2 way.
I plan on adding a USB scanner or combo printer in the future that runs via USB, so it would be best to not tie down the USB with to much.

Yeah, I have the Logitech MX700 mouse too Redfox, best mouse I have ever owned, and great for fraggin' too.
