FireFox Display Glitches

Anybody else see these two issues when browsing on here with FireFox?

The circle in the top right shows the title of the current page I'm viewing but it also has a fragment of the previous title stuck to the end of it.

The arrow at the far right shows the Smilies window extending out past the boundaries of the template.

Just curious if others have this problem.

Thanks!

Fink

Psst, move this to the computer section

I am on Firefox, and I am not seeing this at all in my reply window here.

I do not see the ads either by the way like in your screenshot.
You need to install Ad Blocker Plus for the Fox.

Moved, I always forget this section is even here.
I'll quit being a newbie one of these days.

I have no idea why mine is doing it - I'm pretty sure it does this on my other PC too, it's running XP.

Yeah I still need to add a few add-ins, this is a new build so I haven't added everything to it yet.
I'm actually getting ready to re-image it again with a new image I built, need to test it for a few of the machines at the office.

Just got Office 2010 in the mail from my bro at Microsoft too - I'm hoping there aren't any issues with iTunes anymore, I read they got it fixed but haven't tested it myself...

Glitch with iTunes?
Have not hear of it.
I have not bought nay tunes though from them since last year, but I do use the player.

I am still on Office 2003.
I had 2000 when I got my recall back to Boeing November of 2005, and they were running 2003, so I got it through them for home use.

When Office 2010 first rolled out Apple hadn't released their newest version of iTunes yet (9.2 I believe) and the older version wasn't compatible with it.
So iPhone users weren't able to sync their contact, calendar, etc...

I read somewhere that version 9.2 is compatible - I sure as hell hope it is...

You're still on 2003? Holy smokes.
I love 2007 and I'm just now getting used to the ribbon and extra features, AFAIK they haven't changed a ton about the interface in 2010 but I have yet to even see a screenshot of it.

My dad just got a new Lenovo laptop and he has it on there and loves it.
BlackBerry is so behind the times they have yet to release a version of their Desktop Manager software that is compatible with it though.

I had to teach him a workaround that converts the .pst file back to a 2007 version so he can sync.
It's a total pain.

I really think BlackBerry is going to slowly fade away with the iPhone and the DROID taking over like they have.

could be a theme glitch

have you tried applying a different visual theme for FireFox?

worst case scenario, try disabling the Windows visual effects for the FireFox .exe

I've swapped over to Safari as my permanent browser, lol, so I can't test to see if it's doing it on my Windows 7 PC's as well...

I think 2003 was over $500 at the time I got it, but I got the whole package for $15 being a Boeing employee.
Any software we use at work we can buy to use at home too from them.

If they upgrade to 2010 or something else later, I can get it for the same price.

I've tried several - it does it on all of them.

I'm not too worried about it, I'm used to it now.
I have Safari on here too, I just prefer Firefox

Gotcha - I got the whole suite at Microsoft employee price...the markup the general public gets is insane.

Well it's good to know I'm not the only seeing the smiley issue - it's not a huge deal, just wanted to see if anybody else was having the same issue.

I'm still running Window XP and Firefox and my screen is not like yours no... but don't ask me more than this cause I am highly computer illiterate. I avoided cell phones for years just cause I did not want to have to try to figure have this stuff out.

Let me get back out my abacus and count my grains of rice...
