FireFox add-ons you cant live without

list the Add-ons you can not live without in FireFox.

1: AdBlockPlus https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1865
No more ads! everysite i goto is ad free!!

2: Hide MenuBar https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/4762
Great for my netbook. the menu can be hidden but it shows back up when you press alt.

3: Personas https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/10900
changes the color of the menu bar to pretty skins.

4:Read it later https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/7661
allows you to book mark a page to read it later if you want, but doesnt clog up your bookmarks for one time use readings

Tofer, on the AdBlock, did you use the easy list subscription, or just add your own filters?

I use the default list for Add Block Plus too, I think it is the first choice?
Works great, I do not see ads.

I also use this one.
PDF Download 2.2.0.2

You can save any webpage with it too to a PDF file.
Pretty cool, as you could save this entire thread here to a PDF file if you wanted to.

No problems what so ever. I don't recall ever getting that. I've put it on 10+ computers so far.

Also look at how many downloads, 19 million, 307 reviews with a 5-star average, and its recommended.

Thanks, it did not do that during an install, I saw the text when I hovered over the add-on or saw it somewhere.

I may try it later today at work and see how it works.

Yes it is!
It blocks just about every pop up, intellitext, and other stuff that forums use.
I use it at work too.

Hey, I am looking for a special add on, and I am not sure if it exists.
I run Firefox on my tower and my laptop.

Most of the time I am at the gaming tower here.
When I bookmark something, and I bookmark a lot and have them all organized, of course they are not on my laptop.

If I sit in the living room and have the laptop with me and I bookmark something, of course it is not on the tower.

I simply can not copy the bookmark file from one to the other, as it will over right the other and I will loose many bookmarks.

Is there an add on that can sync up both files somehow and not over right the others, but simply add to them on both computers?

Did that here at Boeing when I typed the above post.
The plugin took, and when I went to install the conversion add on, the admin thing popped up saying I do not have the perms to do it

Will try it at home.
That would be cool to do that to some YouTube vids I want to watch.
I can save my own vids and convert them from my YouTube account already, but not others.

anyone know the name of the extension that lets you preview links? You roll the mouse over it and it pops up in a mini window so you don't have to actually click the link to see it?
