Editing music files - what software?

I beleive Nero 6 can do it, as I have in the past.
You can open up a tune in Nero and drag and drop it to a 2nd template after you shortned it in the first one. It has been a few years since I did that though, but it was not to hard.

I have Nero Express and it doesn't appear to have that feature (is Nero 6 worth buying? I'd only need it for editing audio tracks)

Oh yeah, someone turned me onto that app when I did the 4 year YT anniversary project.
Works great if it is the same one I am thinking of, and you can stitch together files too.
