clickpring.net

i dont know if you guys have heard of this, but i get these pop ups now from this place clickspring. they are different every time, but always have that clickspring.net in the window part (kind of like how yotatech has "yotatech forums - post new thread- microsoft explorer")

i run spybot, and adaware, and nothing rids it of the problem. i have the google toolbar, and it has been doing a great job catching pop ups until these.

anyone else have/had this problem?

try googling "clickspring popup", you should get a few ways of removing it. Its definitely spyware.

thanks tom . i did that before, yet couldnt find anything that helped. maybe im just not as computer savvy as originally thought. actually, one of the downloads that turns up to get rid of it, is actually spyware as well. so, thats a no go.

clipspring removal

hey bro, check out this website: http://www.psychicfred.com/clickspring.htm. Seems that clipspring is adware that spreads itself like a trojan.

I use webwindow killer and any pop up I get I click on it in web windowkiller and it never comes back. manually enter ip addresses and web sites too
also go to your add/remove programs in the control panel and look for obviouse adware like shopathome network or gain or searchtoolbar among other things
http://www.webwindowkiller.com/
and its free
now I just tried a new browser and I don't get pop ups unless it is needed by the site. firefox .9
