Northridge CA CB Shops? not getting reception

Hello Everyone,

I'm off to Nasville from Northridge Ca, (Wife is being relocated, I'm in tow)

I bought my first set of CB's I wanted a all in one package IE Cobra 75 WXST and a midland 2+1 75-822.

I have a old magnet mount antenna that I'm using a Wilson 1000 is on its way. Right now I'm getting White noise on all channels from the truck. I'm in need to go to a local shop to have a tech help me out on this. Can anyone recommend a CB shop in the north Los Angeles area (San Fernando Valley)

Thanks much.

Darren

Is the noise related to the engine running? If so, try rewiring the radio to get cleaner power and ground connections:

Thanks for the replies. I'll head to CB shop there and check it out.

Scratch that, I've read the artical and relized it would save time and gas just by running dedicated wires for the CB. That should do the trick.

Thanks again.
