I've tried Fugarwi, OziExplorer and MS Streets, and each one has it's pluses and minuses. MS streets is great, for streets, and the other two are OK for off-road, but I'm still looking for one that will cover both street and off-road, using my own scanned maps.
I use it driving and flying, so I want something versatile and simple. I can plug in my Garmin (older G38) and my GPS bug, which is a great toy, but must be used with the laptop. I posted the identical question in the GPS/Comms forum a couple weeks back.
