Just FYI... Streets & Trips 2007 rocks.

I took a trip this weekend and decided to pick up streets and trips with GPS module from bestbuy for $130. Great piece of software, worked awesome on my IBM/Lenovo T60 laptop and did very well not getting me lost

I'm looking forward to giving the GPS tracking feature a whirl when I go wheeling in the state forest roads and trails (most of which aren't mapped.)

just thought i'd share.

Later: 1.5" body lift, 2.5" suspension lift of some variety. (undecided)

I run a VERY similar setup; IBM T60p, eTrex Venture, Streets + Trips 2007.

It's off most of the time though...when it's on, I'm already lost!

i never liked the streets and trips software, maybe ill have to look at the new one.

in my opinion nothing beats iguidance 3 for a car pc. especially with the umpc version.

ill have to look around and see how people are getting along with S&T 07 in their carpc's

It's probably not as good as something dedicated for one-hand use, but having to slow down or pull over, look the other way, and flip between my iPod and my laptop could have something to do with that.
