Are GPS Nav sets really a good thing?

For those of you that have one or are thinking of getting one please read this short link

If you use one please pay attention to where the directions are actually sending you... the life you save could be mine.

That's just retarded, too bad the fence was there otherwise he would have removed himself from the gene pool.

...and if was able to drive in there with his BMW, why the heck did it take rescue crews 9 hours to get it out?! The fact is that people are becoming more dependent on all forms of computers, not just GPS. Hard to say if its a good or bad thing, but it's best to keep an attitude that the computer is a tool, not the end-all answer.
