Garmin GPS Custom Toyota Vehicles

I'm not sure how many people really look at the "Electronics>GPS & Communication" forums, and to be honest I never have before either, lol. But I have an intersting thing here...

Just put the Garmin GPS system on my cell phone, and I got to looking around for some custom vehicles to load up on it, and thought it would be cool to have one that looked like my truck! Or even one that just looked ovbiously like a Toyota truck, or even 4Runner.

Now I've done a little research and I believe I've figured out how to make custom ones, but I've got to try it out first, and then maybe I'll try to take some pics of my truck and whip one up, but that would be pretty time consuming...

If there's enough demand and want for this type of thing, maybe I can even make some custom ones for some people. This doesn't just work on the cell phone Garmin systems, they can be installed on the actual Garmin stand-alone units too!

I might start with something simple around the house for the first one, like a screw-driver or something, lol. Only difficult and time consuming thing about it is that it takes 36 individual pics to make the 3D vehicles, and 36 individual pics to make the 2D pics... each with it's own tiny rotation... the 2D one is easy; only need one good pic and you can rotate that pic to make the rest, but the 3D one, well you really do need 36 seperate pictures...

So any tech-savvy yotatecher's every ventured into this and tryed it, or done it?

I did come accross an F150 and Explorer forum in my search for some vehicles and they made them on there, but I can't find any Toys...

What do yall think of the idea?

Ok, I've figured this would be kinda hard to do with a real truck, lol, I'd have to stand on my roof and angle every pic just right...

anyone have a Hotwheels sized Toyota they would like to contribute?
