cb radio

where is everyone mounting the cb in their rig? particularly the 2nd gen runners

Yea im going to mount mine in the ashtray when i get. Its going to be a Cobra 19 DX IV. Looks like a good spot.

I just dont know if i should get an external speaker for it.

In my 2nd gen 4Runner I had



Now in the FJ, same spot



No interference with passengers legs in either rig.
It is a big radio too, the Cobra 29.

I haven't yet gotten around to getting a CB for the truck but the one in the tercel is positioned the same as coreys.
