so i figured i would post what i did for tunes in my 88 reg cab pick-up.
i listen to everything from country to rap.i wanted a system that would cater to that and it does everything i could of asked.
i came in at around 400 bucks. i already had the cd player.
head unit. dont know the model # but its a decent little JVC.
4" 2way kickers in the dash with bass blockers on em. 60 bucks or so from crutchfield.
6 1/2" pioneers 2ways in the doors. 40 bucks at walmart.
10" 2ohm kicker cvt in a sealed truck box from kicker. 150 bucks shipped from hookedontronics.com
alpine m450 amp.pushing 400 watts @ 2ohm. 130 bucks from best buy as an open box special.with a full 4 year warranty.
amp install kit came from sound quest on ebay. 30 bucks.8 guage/60 amp fuse..
all i can say is it friggin rocks out with its #$%@ out!!!

if you are looking for a sub for your pick-up look no further.this enclosure fits perfect and sounds incredible.i swear you think there's 2 10"s in there when you get it going.
nice tight,hard thumpin,pretty clear bass.
its all a cab ever needs,unless you wanna go deaf.
i am in no way affiliated with any of these brands,just a blue collar boy that wants a decent system at a decent price,im happy it sounds this good.
