When I bought this 89 P/U it had no radio...previous owner took out an aftermarket, left big hole.
I'm trying to install a stock radio from an eighties 2wd. I only have the pig-tail that goes into the radio. It has a brown wire in the center, blue-green-gray on one side and blue-green-purple and pink on the other. Question, are the pink and brown for continuous & ignition power? Is there a separate ground or just the housing/antenna jack? The wires in the truck (again no plug) are all marked. I don't need or want anything 'nice' as it's a daily beater/woods truck and there's no need to tempt anyone to steal something I can't hear the difference in! Thanks.
