Sirius Satellite Radio Problem

Well, my Sirius is acting up again. I was on the way to the beach last Monday and started to notice it cutting out even more than it normally does. I mean there were absolutely no obstructions in sight, just a cloudy sky, and it got to a point where it totally stopped playing and started "Acquiring Signal" for about ten minutes, so I finally got sick of it and turned on a CD. I turned it on about 30 minutes later and it worked fine. We got to the condo in Destin and unpacked and I got in the truck to run to the store. I tried to put it back on Sirius and nothing. Now my Kenwood receiver was not even recognizing that the Sirius tuner was even connected to it. My sources scroll CD, Tuner, and Off. I don't know what in the world happened. I seriously doubt that the wire from the Sirius tuner to the radio came unplugged at the radio, but I have not been able to pull everything out of the dash yet and check. Anyone else experienced anything like this? Once again I must reiterate that I am HIGHLY disappointed with Sirius. As if the reception wasn't bad enough, now this. Thanks guys. Later.

Matt

If the HU is not recognizing the satellite receiver, something has become unplugged.

Matt,
What kind of antenna do you have? I think there has gotta be something wrong with your antenna or satellite receiver. Mine only loses reception in parking garages and maybe when going under an over pass (goes out for about 1 second).

Maybe you should call Sirius and let them know of the problem.
