I am . I have a 98 4runner that the power antenna died long ago . Found a second antenna built into the rear passenger window . I still don't understand why they have 2 installed ? Used it instead. I had to get an adapter from Walmart. Works like a champ . I got the power mast down and unhooked power to it . Then just painted it black , can't even really see the old power antenna spot. Cost like 6 bucks to do . P.s. I'm on the mobile version so I can't tell what kind of truck you have , 3rd Gen runners seem to have the extra antenna . Not sure about other models. You can tell if it has it by looking in the rear passenger side window, it will look like a defroster outline around the window , the drivers side doesn't have it .

\\i have installed several hidden antennas in several vehicles, both my own and ones i have just worked on. They work fine from FM, but will do little to nothing for the AM stations. I have installed them in several different locations. on the top of the windshield, above the sunroof liner, several in the upper cavity of the dash, behind the radio etc and didnt have any issues with them

Yep, I'm using one in my '89 pickup. Ran the wire up the RH A-pillar, removed the passenger sunvisor, & poked it up above the headliner. Works perfy!
(of course, I'm the retard that cut the coax to my power ant. in the 1st. place). Ha!

Hi guys,
Exactly what kind have you used?
mast antenna gets in the way of loading kayaks, and it's another thing to worry about in the car wash, so I'm also considering a hidden one.

I wonder if you have any experience with
this"><span style=this" /> this">this
.
Good experience. Bad experience? I plan to stick in on upper portion of winshield glass where it would not interfere with visibility and where I would want to put a dark tint, anyway.

TIA
