No dude, alarms aren't supposed to drain your battery like that. Bring it to who installed it and tell them what's up. They made a mistake. I also have a similar 2-way system and I have left it for 2 weeks on an Optima and it didn't phase it. Good pic on the alarm by the way, I no longer run DEI but they are good stuff.

I did notice if my truck sits for longer than a week my battery drops, but not so much to create a problem. I can tell my battery drops because the alternator is working harder to charge it. After approximately 3 weeks it was pretty much dead.
I went to the optima red cap and haven't had a problem since. The optima battery is a little more expensive, but cheaper in the long term and you don't have the acid leaks associated with the other batteries. I will go optima again and I'm a cheap ass. My .02 |

No, that should not happen with any alarm.
You need to do some electrical testing to find out what is pulling all that current.
